BE YOUR BEST

Supplement tips from

a World Champion!

When you are training for a world title, to be the best you
have ever been, then every rep, every set, every training
session counts, but what brings the biggest results is your
nutrition. Every gram is carefully and precisely planned,
including supplementation. Training sessions break us
down while food, supplements and rest rebuild our bodies
to be better than they were before.

Although my comp prep supplementation schedule
changes slightly from my off season one, there are a few
products that I use all the time: Branched Chain Amino
Acids (BCAAs), a couple of fantastic protein powders,
Creatine and Glutamine. In comp prep I would also add in
Carnitine for that extra fat burn.

I demand that my supplements are as pure as possible, backed by science, rigorously tested and at a great price. I
have read several independent studies that showed that many supplements are a complete
waste of time, hugely overpriced, and very often don’t include anything like the ingredients
they say they do, often being bulked out with cheap rubbish fillers. There is no room for
this kind of ‘snake oil’ when you are putting your heart, soul, sweat and tears into
achieving your goals. That’s why I use and trust bulknutrients.com.au!

The main thing to remember when trying to get ‘toned’ is that we want to
lose fat but we want to hold on to as much muscle as we possibly can at
the same time. Muscle is metabolically active, fat is not. Muscle looks
beautiful and gives lovely lines to the body. If we lose muscle and fat,
yes the scales might go down but we will just look like smaller
versions of the same body shape, with no lessening of softness or
added tone.

The correct supplementation can make or break your condition, so don’t fall for
gimmicks. I have competed at the top level worldwide and stand by
my suggestions through experience and results.

Good luck on your own journey!
