O
ne morning
after waking up,
shuffling to the
shower, force-
feeding myself an
extra strong coffee and blasting
music on Spotify in a
last-ditch attempt to wake
myself up (I am not a morning
person, clearly), I happened to
stumble upon an AMAZING
playlist called ‘Jams of 2000s’
and the nostalgia came
flooding back.
I can already tell you’re
thinking, ‘WTH is she on
about? I was BORN in the
2000s!’ Trust me guys. It
was an important era in pop
culture history. So listen up.
Setting the scene
It was the year 2001,
and while you were
learning how to walk...
*The rapper Sean Combs,
a.k.a. ‘Puff Daddy’ became ‘P.
Diddy’. Followed shortly by
‘Diddy’.
*Long before she
became the glamazon
that married Kanye and
named her child after a
direction, Kim
Kardashian was
Paris Hilton’s lowly
assistant who
was forced to clean
out her obscenely
pink wardrobe.
Who knew?

Since I’m sure the majority of
you would have been babies at the
time and therefore unable to fully
appreciate the lyrical genius that
was “My hump, my hump, my
hump, my hump”, I’ve included the

Srsly tho, add them to
your playlist. You can
