LET THE SUNSHINE IN with warm, friendly and bright
yellow. The chirpy hue evokes feelings of instant happiness,
with the uplifting and energising colour working
especially well in smaller rooms such as bathrooms
for a feeling of warmth and wellbeing, and in hallways and
entryways, too, creating a generous and welcoming vibe.
Yellow is also a lovely, sunny, stimulating choice for kitchens
and dining rooms. But words of caution: while the colour
is associated with a positive mood, a mostly yellow interior
can apparently result in feelings of anger and frustration- and babies in yellow rooms may just be more likely to
cry! Go ahead and embrace yellow, but temper it with
neutral colours for a calming effect. A
