we were meant to be,” Lauren adds. “Living in a lot of houses is good – in the sense
you know what you really don’t want. The house was light and felt very relaxed.”
However, while Lauren has added contemporary touches to the exterior and the pool
area, these are next on her list for some modernising touches. But all in all, the house
suits the young family’s needs. “I love the house as we have relaxing space to enjoy
with our friends and family, which is all we have wanted,” Lauren says. “It’s a space
that refl ects both our personalities, but still feels like a home.” Exactly as it should be. R

Great expectations “The house had a great presence and we were both instantly attracted to it,”
Lauren says. “It was very liveable, which was desirable having just been introduced to the world of
parenting, but there was plenty of scope too.” Life aquatic The family get to enjoy a pool, too.
