PRESLEY SLAB FONT

unveiled a flamboyant new font family
named after the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll that
takes a design cue from his hairstyle.
“Presley Slab is a reverse contrast
font inspired by a mixture of good late
nineteenth-century typographic styles
and details from the photo-lettering era,”
says type designer and Sudtipos founder
Alejandro Paul, the creator of this font. “The
Thin weight of Presley Slab looks totally
different from the Black. As the font becomes
bolder, it becomes more exuberant; the
thinner weights are more delicate, elongated
and stylish.”
This font family includes nine weights
with alternatives, swashes and italics as well
as ended swashes, and it can answer all the
needs of a demanding project, from display
to long passages of text.
“From Extra Bold to Black, we added
a few details to make the ball terminals
more prominent with more personality. It’s
intended to bring to mind images of dancing
