This past year saw Pentagram

London create eye-catching

projects for John Lewis

Partnership, London Fashion

Week and Opera Ballet of

Flandres (OBV) all attracting

attention. Partner, graphic

designer and filmmaker Marina

Willer describes it as “a year of

new partners bringing incredible

energy and exciting work.”

Looking ahead to 2020, she

hopes to “connect with clients

that care about the world. It’s

hard to just do business as usual

when the world is in such a bad

shape.” Specifically, she believes,

“Brexit is like a collective

suicide. I can’t believe this is

even considered as an idea.”

a lot of digital heavy brand

work, including gaining

Amazon, AT&T, BBC, IMAX

and AC Milan as clients,” says

DixonBaxi’s Simon Dixon. 2019

bullish about its prospects for

2020: “While it’s probably a

cheesy thing to say, the team is

the best we’ve ever had, and the

spirit is strong,” he says.

Brexit doesn’t faze them,

either. “Over 80 per cent of our

work is international, and our

team is from everywhere. We’ll

continue this, regardless of any

political situation.”
