its work for Norway’s Munch

Museum, following the success

of previous branding projects

for the Tate Modern, Science

Museum and South Bank

Centre. What motivates them

to continue creating great work?

Perkins responds simply: “The

next project is going to be the

very best work we’ve ever done.”

In 2020, North also has a

big party planned, to celebrate

25 years in business. “We won’t

be inviting Farage or Boris,”

Perkins adds.

For GBH, it’s been a year of

building and growing. “We’ve

continued to develop strong

specialism in hospitality and

in sports marketing, with new

hotel and restaurant work for

The_Modern in Florida, Mob

Hotel in Paris, Stay KooooK in

Bern and Amor in Milan,” says

Mark Bonner, creative director

and founder of GBH.

Bonner’s also excited about

its Standing on the Shoulders

of Giants project for Virgin

Galactic, a new partnership with

Hummel in Denmark, and the

creation of the SailGP catamaran

sailing championships. As far as

Brexit goes, though: “We don’t

acknowledge it at GBH. Fuck

it. It simply doesn’t exist in the

worlds we’re making.”
