Founder and creative director
Craig Oldham’s attitude to work
in 2019 has been to, “Do work
we find interesting, stimulating,
and that contributes something,
other than adding to the mass
of detritus; aim to change stuff
we can; and rally against stuff
we may not.”
Highlights have included,
“working with Nina at Rough
Trade Books and working
on pilot initiatives for British
Cycling with Ellen Ling, and the
V&A with Hannah Warrick”. As
for Brexit, “Who the fuck knows
anything? It’s terrifying how
much that word and misguided
ideology has sent this country
and us all to the dogs.”

IDEAS, IDEAS, IDEAS

“We’ve done some of our best
work in 2019,” says Supple
Studio’s creative director Jamie
Ellul. “One of my favourites is
a branded packaging range for
Dorothy House Hospice Care,
a range of natural wellbeing
products with all the profits
going straight back to the
charity. It ticks all our boxes for
good design doing some good in
the world.”
Other highlights have
included a rebrand of printers
Empress Litho, a brand and
wayfinding system for the
Minster Mill hotel, a visual
refresh for University of the
Arts Accommodation, and
Ferguson’s Gang, Supple
Studio’s first project for the
National Trust.
