DESIGN BRIDGE FOR FINANCIAL ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN

“For this project we worked in Cinema 4D using Octane as
our render engine of choice. Octane is particularly great
for realism and detail, and using X-Particles enabled us
to create and control the movement along paths. We also
experimented with brush textures to dial up and dial down
the translucency and intensity of colour until we found the
right balance.
Once the initial look and feel had been approved by the
client, we moved on to animation, with the aim of creating
a series of animated sequences that best represented the
organisation’s new positioning and brand assets.
I think one of the most interesting things about the
final transformation graphic is that we actually created
all the animations first, making sure that they flowed
seamlessly and organically, and we then selected the best
frames to use as the stills that you see as part of the final
visual identity.
One of the challenges of this project was that we knew
the assets would be seen across multiple digital and print
media, so our renders needed to reflect this. As a result,
we decided to use external render farms to make sure that
we could supply all of the formats required.”
