been spotted out

in Nashville the past couple of

weeks, locals say they’ve never

looked happier.

“Th ey are holding hands and

being very attentive, even when

they think no one is watching,”

a friend tells Woman’s Day.

Th e award-season regulars

were noticeably absent from both

the Oscars and the Grammys,

where Keith was due to present,

with sources saying they chose

to stay home with their girls

Sunday, seven, and Faith, five.

Rather than buy into the glitz

and glam of Hollywood parties

and red-carpetappearances, Nic

and Keith, both 48, have been

enjoying family routine at home

and looking more loved-up than

theyhaveinyears.

Now, insiders have confirmed

the couple have turned a corner

in their marriage, which has been

the subject of much speculation

over the past year.After months

ofheartache, Keith and Nicole

havesorted out their issues and

they’recommitting once and for

all to being husband and wife.

As the couple approach the

10-year wedding anniversary

next June, they are putting

the fi ghting, jealousy and

cheating rumours behind

them for good. A decade

after they said “I do”, Keith

and Nicole are falling in

love all over again.

A fresh start

“Everything has combined to

make them realise they need

each other,” a friend reveals to

Woman’s Day. “It’s easy to get

buzz from all the excitement o

their careers and jetting all ove

the world. But nothing can tak

the place of the warmth they

feel inside from being home

together as a family.”

With Keith set to wrap up

filming on the final season of

American Idolin the coming

weeks, the family time is set

to continue. “Keith is feeling

quite emotional about the show

coming to an end, especially as

he doesn’t have any other major

TV projects planned right now,”

another insider explains. “But

he is looking forward to the

home comforts of Nashville,

rather than spending all that

time in Los Angeles.”

For Nicole, the couple’s

10-year wedding anniversary

was a cause of anxiety. After her

first husband Tom Cruise, 53,

filed for divorce exactly 10 years

after they’d wed, and with all the

problems she and Keith have

been having, she feared history

could repeat itself. It was this, in

part, that gave her the strength

put the past behind her

and work things out with Keith.

“Despite all their problems,

Keith is a good man and she is

determined to make it past 10

years with him and then have

another 10 years together,”

a friend of the Oscar-winning

actress explains.

“She isn’t going to let their

marriage fall apart like what

happened with Tom, and deep
