iley Cyrus’ time in Australia had
come to an end. She’d passed
out in Lady Gaga’s dressing
room, chucked a major tanty on stage
during one of her performances and
then kissed 1D’s Liam Payne in front
of thousands of fans to get back at
her ex-boyfriend. While she tongue-
wagged her way out of the country,
Liam woke up in his hotel room a
little confused about his rendezvous
with Miley. One Direction’s On The
Road Again tour was certainly off
to an unbelievably crazy start...
Liam’s face was now on the cover
of every major tabloid and gossip
magazine in the country. Uh-oh.
“Cyrus Gets The Liam Love Virus.”
“Miley’s Liam Love Triangle.”
“No Payne, No Gain For Miley.”
The headlines were everywhere
and Harry Styles wasn’t about to let
Liam miss all the press he was getting.
He’d taken the first opportunity he got
to rub it in Liam’s face, reveling in the
fact that for once it actually wasn’t
him on the front page of the papers.
“Wakey, wakey, Lord Payne! Your
morning paper has arrived,” Harry
said cheekily, dropping an assortment
of magazines onto Liam’s bed.
Liam sat up and cleared his eyes.
“WHAT IS DIS?” Payne exclaimed.
“Oh, you’ve gotta be kidding me...”
“Daddy Direction! It would seem
you’re quite the Casanova out here,
old chap!” Harry taunted him.
But Harry was the least of Liam’s
worries as the rest of the boys loudly
barged into his hotel room.
“DADDY D AND MILEY SITTIN’
IN A TREE! K.I.S.S.I.N.G,” Niall
sang, jumping on to Liam’s bed.“I came in like a soccer ball!”
Louis sang, dribbling a football in.
Then Zayn moped in and propped
himself on the desk as if he were
about to watch a spectator sport.
“You know nothing happened. It
was just a peck on the lips,” Liam said.
Louis, Zayn, Harry and Niall all
looked at each other before breaking
into laughter. “Just a peck!” they all
imitated in perfect, annoying unison.
The boys were set to kick off their
tour in Oz that night and already one
of them was caught up in drama. But
there was an even bigger scandal in
that room that was yet to break. Taylor
Swift was in town to promote her 1989
tour and old flame Harry was the first
person she texted upon arrival.
The text simply read: “Dirty Harry...
I hear Liam’s been cleaning up... What
are you boys up to tonight? Tay xx.”Harry looked at the text, puzzled.
He’d had enough songs written about
him to know that he shouldn’t reply.
Later that night, the boys performed
to a record crowd at Rod Laver Arena
so they decided to have a night out
to celebrate. Their manager escorted
them to a fun after-party, packed with
rock ‘n’ rollers and Melbourne peeps.
After a few selfies, the boys scored
a table, surrounded by bodyguards.
“THIS PLACE IS ALRIGH’,” Louis
tried to yell over the blaring music.
“WHAT?!” Niall screamed back.
“I SAID, THIS PLACE IS ALRIGHT!
GOOD MUSIC!” he repeated.“YEAH, I’M ALRIGHT, THANKS!
WHAT ABOUT YOU?!” Niall replied.
Louis hadn’t heard anything he
said because his eyes became locked
on the young lady slowly approaching
their table. Yep, this meant trouble.
“Well, well. Look who just walked
in,” Zayn whispered to Harry.
“WHAT?!” Harry yelled back.
But it was too late. Taylor Swift
was walking through the party and
making a real beeline for Harry.
Zayn then quickly grabbed Harry’s
head and turned it towards her. Just
as they locked eyes, she changed her
direction and walked up to the empty
seat at the table, right next to 1D’s
newest Casanova, Lord Liam Payne.
“Hey, Liam. So I hear you’ve had
a big day in the tabloids, huh?”
Liam looked up, startled by her
sudden presence. Why was she here?
“Um, well... yeah.
Wait, what?! What you
doin’ here, Taylor?”
Swifty smiled and
leaned in to Liam’s
ear, sneaking a mischevious glance
at an extremely embarrassed Harry.
She knew he was watching them.
“You wanna come shake it
off with me on the d-floor?”
