Where’s Glenbrook: At the foot of the Blue Mountains,
Glenbrook is just under an hour’s drive from Sydney CBD.
It’s a lovely place to take a break or just spend the day,
with a cinema, beautiful park, information centre, cafes and
boutiques, all within an easy five-minute walk from the
village centre and train station.
Where in Glenbrook: 33 Ross Street. From the Great Western
Highway, turn left into Ross Street, just after passing the
information centre. Cross Park Road at the tennis complex,
then continue ahead down Ross Street and look out for the
hexagon tiles on our front wall! If you’re coming by train,
we’re about two minutes up the hill from the station.
Who plays host: Judy Tyrrell and staff.

Worth visiting because: Our friendly and helpful staff will be
there to greet you when you visit, then, cast your eyes over all the
wonderful crafty goodies we have for you. We stock quality cotton
quilting fabrics in a wide range of styles, including Civil War and
similar reproduction ranges, lots of Moda fabrics from designers
such as French General, Bonnie and Camille, Three Sisters and
more, along with batiks, blenders, children’s, plains and Japanese
fabrics – we really have something for everyone. Inspiration is
easy to come by, with patchwork and quilting patterns available,
and we also stock batting and most of the bits you need for
your quilting. We also have Gütermann sewing threads, Madeira
embroidery threads and general haberdashery supplies. And you
can feel free to leave your sewing machine with us for servicing
or repairs. Throughout the year, we hold classes and workshops
with established and experienced teachers. Bus tours are
welcome to visit with prior notice.
What we recommend: Make sure you visit us regularly,
because we are always supplementing our beautiful fabric
ranges, and you never know what you’ll find – we have
something for everyone.
