Describe your business?
We are a proudly Australian owned and
operated company. From our Adelaide
offices we develop and manufacture a wide
range high quality performance driving and
hand held lights to be distributed all over
the world!
Tell us some of the history of your
company?
Lightforce grew out of the need for
lightweight performance lights with great
durability. Our founder, Dr Ray Dennis
designed his own light in the small town
of Cleve and the rest, as they say, is
history! Since then, Lightforce has grown
to produce Australia’s best driving and
handheld lights, with a vast majority of
the work being undertaken at the Adelaide
headquarters! Our strong research and
development team have helped us to grow
over the years and bring customers some
of the most innovative products to the
Australian market!
Where is the company at now?
Lightforce has grown to employ over
70 staff at the Adelaide location, with
hundreds of dealers and stockists
across Australia, while our products are
exported to countries the world over!
We’re constantly growing and expanding
and while we do so we are maintaining a
majority of our manufacturing process right
here in Australia!

We are proud to produce one of the
strongest products on the market, which
we support with a three-year warranty. Our
Adelaide based customer service team
are on call to assist with any enquiries
that users may have so that customers are
always able to receive quick and reliable
service. Each and every product that we
produce is independently tested in a NATA
accredited laboratory, so customers can
rest assured that the light output that we
promote is genuine and proven.What products are in development
now?
We’ve just released the truly unique DL230
HTX which is a hybrid of HID and LED
technology, providing the distance of a
70w HID light and the spread of a 20”
LED light bar all with in the one compact
round LED light. We’re looking forward to
further developing new lights for those who
prefer LED technology and moving forward
to research other viable options for the
market – it’s certainly an exciting time in
the Lightforce offices!Who uses your products?
Anyone and everyone! A customer who
chooses Lightforce is one who recognises
the value in a well-designed and well-
made product from a great Australian
company! Anyone from 4WDers, campers
and weekend warriors through to hard-core
comp truck teams can be a Lightforce
fan! Our lights recently survived the Baja
1000 atop the Off Road Rush buggy as
it became the first Aussie built buggy toever finish the race! The guys from Off
Road Rush told us that while many of their
competitors in the race reached the finish
line with damaged or completely ruined
lights, the Lightforce stayed strong all
through one of the toughest races in the
world!What’s your greatest achievement?
Lightforce have dominated the awards
sections of independent magazines since
our inception and we’ve won a number of
industry awards and accolades including
the Good Design Australia award in 2013
and most recently, bundles of praise for our
LED215 throughout industry publications
but we’re still most proud of being able to
consistently produce quality products that
have kept our loyal customers coming back
for more!L
