ON FIT FUEL
I fuel my workouts with a balanced
carbohydrate and protein meal about 45 to 60
minutes prior to my weight training sessions.

ON RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD
A person’s relationship with food is one of
their most important relationships. You
should enjoy the food you’re eating!! It’s
a problem when all you’re thinking about
is food, eating it or not eating it, and what
you look like because of it. I think we need
to spend less time in front of the mirror
and more time with people, blessing and
encouraging them.

ON CHEAT MEALS
I have a cheat meal weekly, which allows for a
date night with my husband. I usually choose
sushi, frozen yoghurt, thin crust pizza or
pancakes with whipped cream.

ON BALANCE
[laughs]I don’t feel like I have achieved it, but
I do fight for it every single day. Being a busy
mum, wife and business owner and travelling
for auditions, all of my seconds are accounted
for. Scheduling time with God, with my
husband, with myself and with my boys has

been very successful. Things fall into place
better when I have them scheduled.

ON WISDOM
The past is the past. In a very literal sense,
the past doesn’t exist. All that exists is the
present moment, and the only thing we can
change is the present moment.

ON PASSION
I am a very passionate person. I get excited
about seeing people succeed. I love helping
them achieve happiness through goal
setting. It’s important that you see yourself
as great and tell yourself you’re great at
something. It builds confidence.

ON BODY IMAGE
I’m in the fitness industry so it’s always a
struggle! On one hand you know you need
positive self-image, but you also know that
to be a fitness professional, you need to be
a walking billboard. I love being fit, but it’s
a tough job. You have to continually make
conscious decisions that keep you that way.
Being exposed to the best in the world
ensures that there is always something to
strive for.

ON BEAUTY
I have always been a huge fan of spray tans
and properly waxed eyebrows. Those two
things are fairly important to me!
