ADRIAN: Gender equality
is the most important thing
when it comes to modern
dating. It’s important that
you each open the door
for each other an equal
amount of times, and that
you go halvies in any bills
that might be accrued by
a dating situation. Perhaps
you’d like to set up an excel
spreadsheet budget in
advance to make sure that
everyone is OK with the
shared investment before
the date occurs.What topic is sure to
impress a guy on a date?
A: It’s 2016, why should girls
be dating to impress guys?
DOM: To be fair, at a basic
level, the more you impress
a guy the less likely he is
to act impressed. That’d
be displaying vulnerability,
and that’s something we
don’t do well.What does good post-
date text game consist of?
D: We live by the “three
day rule”. You want to wait
at least three days before
letting someone know you
want to see them again.
That’s just enough time for
the other person to have
lost their mind, found it,
and then lost it again.
A: There are stages to post-date self-examination:
DAY 1: They don’t like me.
DAY 2: Who cares what he/
she thinks, I’m awesome.
DAY 3: I’m definitely going
to die alone.
D: And that’s when you
strike. “Hey, remember
me? I’m still a thing.”What’s the best way to
break it o with someone?
D: Adrian does a good job
of getting between me and
anyone I like.
A: Not even, brah, I just
think you haven’t found the
right person yet. Or maybe
the right person for you has
been right there in front of
you the whole time and you
haven’t noticed.
D: The best way to break
up is by “Ghosting”. With
the slow fade, inevitably
they end up being the ones
who have to call it of with
you. And what’s the point
of that? I suppose it helps
with “regret management”.
Years from now, rather than
sitting there on your own,
old and lonely, hating
yourself while you think
about all the wonderful
people who you could
have had a beautiful life
with, you’ll remember it
as them leaving you, and
so you’ll hate them instead.
It’s a lot easier in the long
