Q.I live with my fiancé
and his fitness goals
include a bulking and
cutting season. In
bulking season, it’s
all high fat, carbs and
calories. This is really
distracting me from
my fitness goals, and
the extra food (plus
the protein powder!)
is hurting our budget.
How can we support
each other?

A.

Q.I broke up with this
guy I was dating, and
now he wants to be
“friends”. He’s calling
me “babe”, telling me
he wants to visit, etc.
I’m not interested.
How can I get him
to backo without
seeming like a bitch?

A.!

him with a hot new
dress. Shake up the
routine that’s lulled
you into nap time.
Book a weekend trip
away somewhere
romantic, buy some
massage oil, or even
jump his bones at
the end of a long
work week. Don’t
just wait for him to
deliver your fantasies;
start making them
happen. Then tell
him it’s his turn.

Q.My girlfriend makes
jokes about me being
unfaithful and having
secret boyfriends and
girlfriends. It’s because
she knows I’ve cheated
in the past, but she
never confronts me
outright... it’s just little
insinuations. How do
I get her to stop and
say what she’s really
getting at?

Q.IAMGETTING
MARRIED THIS YEAR,
AND I KNOW WE
NEED TO HAVE THE
MONEY TALK. I’VE
BEEN PUTTING IT
OFF, BECAUSE IT’S
CLEARLY AWKWARD.
HOW DO I ASK HIM
ABOUT HIS CREDIT
SCORE AND OTHER
FINANCIAL STUFF
WITHOUT IT BEING
A WHOLE ISSUE?

A.Unfortunately,
if you’re getting
married, “financial
stu” is definitely
a whole issue. You
have to start talking
about money now.
So be direct: set
aside some time
to share your info

  • assets, budgets,
    debts – and talk
    about your financial
    goals. Do you want
    to pay o a loan?
    Buy a house? Save
    for a big holiday?
    And if you’d rather
    outsource this convo,
    go together to visit
    a certified financial
    adviser, who can
    help you both with
    your marital merger.
