BLIND AND SHUTTER STYLES
ROLLER Simple minimal style to shut out the outside world at night, but allow the windows
or doors themselves to standout in the day. Ideal for skylights, walls of glass and bi-folds.
ROMAN These blinds fold up from the bottom gently and allow a little pattern and/or colour.
MATCHSTICK Usually made from natural materials, they let in a nice soft, filtered light and
provides privacy. Can be used alone or paired with curtains for a more formal look.
VENETIAN Great for controlling light, these slats can be moved up or down – they also allow
airflow on hot nights without totally sacrificing privacy. But be warned, they can be hard to clean.
VERTICAL Popular with large expanses of glass and sliding doors, these can control light
and airflow and can sit nicely to one side out of the way when opened.
SHUTTERS Can be custom fitted to any door or window, fitted with flyscreens making them
ideal for bifold and sliding doors, and moved to take advantage of breezes and block out light.
PANEL These blinds act like frameless frosted windows, gliding up, down and side-to-side. A

Special treatment
In a rustic interior scheme, natural
matchstick blinds look amazing.
These ones are an extension of
the dark brown wall and filter the
bright light of the top-floor space.
