Where did you grow up? “An hour south of Copenhagen
in a medium-to-large city – on a Danish scale – close to
the forest and sea, with two brothers. I’m the middle child.”
Tell us about your childhood “My parents still live in the
same house, built in the 1950s and extended in the 1970s.
Our house has always been a very open house, with space
and food for everybody. The doors were never locked
because, according to my parents, there was nothing
worth stealing. My siblings and I were very focused on
soccer and spent many hours every week trying to reach
the goal to be professional soccer players.”
How did you get to where you are now? “I had a
passion for design from a relatively young age – it was
natural for me to search in that direction. I began as an
agent for international brands, which was a very important
learning period for me. Later on, in October 2011, the
Frama permanent collection was established. From here,
it’s been a fantastic journey working as an independent
production and creative studio.”
What do you love most about your job?
“The atmosphere is relaxed but serious, and values and
a common mindset are highly prioritised. We are extremely
focused and very dedicated, and our everyday is flexible
in order to maintain our personal life also.”
What design is your greatest accomplishment?
“Probably our studio kitchen line because we proved
that something quite complex can be simplified.”
