*Enhance individual place
settings with a guest gift or two.
*Fill old jam jars with white
mints, cover with muslin and
tie with red−and−white string.
*Place pine sprigs in old−style
milk or juice bottles tied with
ribbon and patterned name tags.
*Use paper cones to house tiny
treasures and hang from the tree


  • write the name of each guest
    on a cone for a take−home gift.
    *Pile colour−coordinated fruit
    and vegetables on a cake stand
    for the table top – machine−stitch
    a red cotton border around a
    sheet of baking paper to place
    underneath, if you like.
