I’ve learned over many
years of dressing myself
is to accept your age
and dress accordingly.
For me, style is about
understanding your
lifestyle, knowing your
body type and then
dressing in a way that
feels appropriate. That’s
not being conservative,
it’s just being smart.
“Whenever you’re
deciding what to wear
it’s most important that
you should feel – and
therefore look – as
natural as possible. If it
feels forced then you’re
never going to look
stylish. I like to think
that I design clothes
people feel comfortable
wearing. In fact, I’ve
always prided myself
on making kit that men
really love and want to
wear, rather than leave
on a hanger.
“Ultimately, I believe
style can be found in
simplicity. Even if it’s
something that we all
wear a lot of – a white
shirt or a navy blue suit,
perhaps – you can look
inherently stylish if you
do it with confidence.
On no account, however,
should you ever be
seen wearing a tie with
a large Windsor knot.
That’s very important!”
