orget everything you
know about eveningwear.
In fact, forget the term
eveningwear altogether.
All of a sudden it seems
so outdated when you consider the way
we want to dress right now. Or at least
dress up right now. Because we’re
not ditching the concept of fantastically
decadent, excitement-inducing, credit card-
obliterating fashion to celebrate in – just
when and how we wear it. And anyway,
this season’s sequins and brocades and
laces and embroideries are way too special
to only be seen after dark.
When it comes to seeing out 2016,
there’s no such thing as a dress code. Okay,
within reason. What we mean is, have
a play with it. If it’s a black-tie event, you’re
not about to wear your gym kit, but neither
do you have to dress like you’re the
forgotten cast member of Dallas (big dress
+ big hair + big makeup = big mistake). It’s
surprising how far a long velvet dress, cute
flats and a cheeky attitude will get you, ]
