Having experienced a home on a north-facing
site, the Bates family felt confident enough to
forgo the use of an architect and employ Rycon
Building Group, whose services included the use
of a building designer, for this build. This saving,
along with a well-managed build that came in on
budget, meant they could splurge on extras such as
the automated louvre roof over the alfresco kitchen,
creating the home they always dreamed of.
