HG GARDENING

Green greetings
Liriope ‘Stripey White’, dwarf
mondo grass, Japanese box
(Buxus japonica) and cardboard
palm (Zamia furfuracea) are
fail-safe plants in this climate.
Native violet (Viola hederacea)
creates a pretty groundcover
beside bluestone stepping
stones from Eco Outdoor.

Making an entrance
Clipped balls of coastal
rosemary (Westringia ‘Zena’)
and lovely, showy plumes of
Miscanthus ‘Sarabande’ preside
over the top of the entry path.
“I wanted to create a clearly
defined pedestrian entrance, to
avoid having visitors walk down
the driveway,” says Claudia.

MAXIMISE A

SLOPING SITE

outlook, this new layout in coastal
NSW is well set to survive and thrive.
