BED BASICSThere are simple but effective
tricks to creating a well-resolved
bedroom, says interior designer

the position of the bed and make
this the focal point of the room
by choosing a bold cushion or
bedhead to draw you in,” she
says. Select a bedside table with
drawers to store clutter, and make
sure it’s not too low in relation to
the bed. “I prefer a bedside
table with height, to display
