province’s first forensic investigator

hands with Eve Lazarus, an author
unwavering in her fascination with

garage-punk band
from 1988 to 2004.
Persuaded to play
a reunion in California early this
year, The Smugglers now take to a
hometown stage to coincide with
the publication of Dirty Windshields,
Lawrence’s memoir about his
touring years with the group.
