Preparation

Zigzag or overlock around

the raw edges of the fabric

rectangle to prevent it from

fraying.

Although it is typical to

begin working a cross-stitch

project in the centre of the

fabric, the nature of this design

makes it easier to start in the

bottom left corner or at the top

of the Eiffel Tower. To start in

the bottom left corner, measure

3in in from the left edge of the

fabric and 3in from the bottom

edge and place your fi rst stitch

there. To start at the top of the

Tower, measure in 4in from the

left edge and 4in from the top

edge and start there.
