Note: Read all the instructions
before starting the project. It is
recommended that fabrics be
100% cotton, pre-washed and
well ironed. The main fabric
Minki used is a furnishing-
weight linen-look cotton fabric.
She used Soft and Stable from
By Annie, a specialised foam
bag batting that’s available from
selected retailers in Australia.
Requirements are based on
fabrics and batting 107cm (42in)
wide. Seam allowances of^1 ⁄ 4 in
are used throughout. Minki used
Aurifil 12-weight threads in her
project. Refer to your sewing
machine’s manual for the
correct needle size and tension
settings to use for 12-weight
thread. Instructions are given
for using the printed Pattern
Sheet in the magazine, but you
can also download the digital
patterns from http://www.homepun.
net.au and print them out.
