The brief“I wanted clean white spaces that flowed

beautifully,” says Lillian Ajuria, the owner of this Sydney

ensuite. Lillian is a lawyer who, without the aid of a designer,

undertook the transformation of what was previously a

dining room. Her talents were rightly recognised when it

won the 2016 Domayne Victoria+Albert bathroom design

competition. “The mirrored courtyard was always going to

be the focal point for the design,” she says.
