All construction materials in this project – from
rammed limestone and Hebel panels to Corten
steel, concrete and spotted gum – were chosen
for their ability to perform well, age beautifully
and comply with the property’s Bushfire Attack
Level (BAL) rating of 29, considered high-risk.
“We were strategic in complying with the BAL
ratings while maintaining natural textures in the
facade,” says principal designer Aaron King.
