You want to replenish the
lost nutrient stores as soon
as possible.’

Whey protein
pudding
1 scoop whey protein,
3 tablespoons full fat
Bulgarian yoghurt,
Handful of raspberries

Mix whey and yoghurt and top
with raspberries.

Chia pudding
2 tablespoons
chia seeds,
Almond milk

Soak the chia in the almond
milk overnight. Add banana,
chopped almonds and honey.

Banana pancakes
1 egg
1 banana, mashed

Whisk together and pour
pancake-sized dollops into a
heated pan coated with coconut
oil or cooking spray.

DROPPING WEIGHTS
‘I always fi nd it fascinating why some guys feel it necessary to press 40kg
a side during a shoulder press, and then drop the weights at the top of the rep.
I know it’s heavy, but if you could pick it up, I’m sure you could put it down.’

NOT REPLACING WEIGHTS
‘More often than not, this happens at the leg press. The machine is stacked
with 120kg a side, the person does six reps (very impressive) and then leaves
it for the next person to replace.’

‘I love that people can motivate themselves to push through a workout, but I’ve
seen men stare at themselves and scream at a mirror just before starting a set.
It’s distracting and makes it very awkward for the rest of us.’
