Duty-free shopping, fashion and fi nanceMiller, 83, co-founded the Hong Kong-based Duty Free Shoppers
chain with Alan Parker (qv) in 1960, specialising in airport shops.
The French group LVMH bought a controlling interest in 1998 and
Miller retains a 38.75% stake. Born in America, he is a British
citizen and owns a home in London and a 36,000-acre North
Yorkshire shooting estate. His daughter Marie-Chantal, 48, the
crown princess of Greece, founded an eponymous international

HENRI BEAUFOUR
PharmaceuticalsBeaufour, 52, and his sister Anne own 58% of Ipsen, France’s
second largest pharmaceuticals firm. Its shares have had a good
run and the Paris-headquartered operation is worth £5.14bn. It
was founded by their grandfather in 1929 and the siblings sit on
the board. We assume that Beaufour, who has a home in London
and is a director of UK education charity the Alasol Charitable

JOHN CAUDWELL
Mobile phonesBirmingham-born Caudwell, 64, is backing Unshackled.com, a
website allowing customers to convert phones on payment plans
to Sim-only contracts. He netted £1.24bn when he sold his
Staffordshire-based Phones4U in 2006 and another £100m
when it was sold again. Property development is now his main
business interest. He owns a 16th-century manor in Staffordshire
and has planning permission to transform a Mayfair car park into
flats that could be worth £2bn. His Caudwell Children charity

ADAM FLEMING AND FAMILY
FinanceFleming Family & Partners, represented here by Fleming, 69 next
Monday, managed the affairs of 40 wealthy families, including the
Fleming banking dynasty, before merging with its London rival
Stonehage in 2015 to become Stonehage Fleming. The merger
created the biggest independent multifamily office in Europe, the
Middle East and Africa, advising on more than $40bn of assets.
When Chase Manhattan bought the Robert Fleming merchant

Property and hotelsThe 3,000-piece Zabludowicz art collection in Chalk Farm, north
London, belongs to Helsinki native Zabludowicz, 64, and his
Newcastle-born wife, Anita, 56, who was appointed an OBE in the
2015 new year honours for services to the arts. Zabludowicz ’s
Polish Holocaust survivor father, Shlomo, built the family business
around the Israeli defence contractor Solta, later diversifying its
interests into property and hotels. Israeli police have reportedly
investigated Zabludowicz’s connections with Binyamin

Property and kitchensMalcolm Healey, 72, still displays the Midas touch that he and his
brother Eddie, 79, have shown throughout their long careers.
Malcolm’s West Retail Group, which includes Wren Kitchens and
the electronics retailer Ebuyer, enjoyed a record year in 2015,
with sales soaring to £446.2m. He sold his US operation Mills
Pride for £800m, and lives on a huge East Yorkshire estate. EddieBillionaires share 63.6% of Rich List wealth
