The Australian Vegan Magazine — May-June 2017

I

was vegetarian for 21 years after seeing a
picture of a cow being hauled up by its hoof
from some saleyard or somewhere in 1994.
I converted completely overnight.
I was ready to transition to vegan
in June 2015. It just felt right and
I wish now that I’d done it many
years ago.
I am Director of Barnville Rescue
Cats in Western Sydney and love
all creatures, large or tiny. Looking
forward to a good read!

ypsy and Toffee liked reading it. And so did
Seamus. I think they secretly want to be famous.

R

eceived my hard
copy in the post
yesterday, thanks Michaela.
Obviously I’m biased, but
I was impressed with the
overall presentation and
the mix of articles and
features. Well-branded,
presenting a positive
message, supported by
both facts and personality,
without being preachy.
Enough interest for both
vegans and omnis to

keep turning the pages.
Bravo! Personally, I was
particularly interested in
the ‘Why We Go Vegan’
article. I’ll be passing
on this copy to friends/
doctor’s waiting room
to spread the word just
as soon as I’ve finished
reading it through.
Wish The Australian
Vegan Magazine success.
