Row 1: RS - K1; *p1, k1; rep from

    Rep these 2 rows 3 (3, 4, 4, 4)
    times more.
    Cont in Stst and dec 1 st each end
    every 4th (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th) row 5
    times. 49 (53, 55, 59, 65) sts.
    Cont straight until piece measures 13
    (14.5, 17, 19, 22) cm from beg, end
    with a WS row.


Shape Armholes
Cast off 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) sts beg of next
2 rows, then dec 1 st each end next 3
RS rows. 37 (39, 41, 45, 49) sts.
Stst straight until work measures 22
(24, 27, 30, 34) cm from beg, end
with a WS row.
Cast off loosely 11 (11, 12, 13, 14)
sts beg next 2 rows, place rem 15
(17, 17, 19, 21) sts on holder for
back neck.

LEFT FRONT
With 4.50mm needles, cast on 33
(35, 37, 39, 41) sts.
Row 1: RS - K1; *p1, k1; rep from *
to end.
Row 2: P all sts.
Rep these 2 rows 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) times
more.
Next Row: RS - K to last 6 sts; [p1,
k1] 3 times (matching up with band
already in place).
Next Row: P.
Cont in this manner, work Stst over
main part but keep front edge 6 sts in
band patt throughout and dec 1 st at
sideseam edge (remember that 2 rows
have already been worked) every 4th
(5th, 6th, 7th, 8th) row 5 times. 28
(30, 32, 34, 36) sts.
Keeping front edge correct, cont
straight until piece measures 13
(14.5, 17, 19, 22) cm from beg, end
with a WS row.

Shape Armhole
Cast off 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) sts beg of next
RS row, then dec 1 st next 3 RS rows.
22 (23, 25, 27, 28) sts.
Keeping front edge correct, cont
straight until piece measures 17 (19,
22, 24, 28) cm from beg, end with a
RS row.

Shape Neck
Next Row: WS - Cast off 5 sts, p until
3 (3, 4, 4, 4) sts on needle, slip these
sts to holder, p to end.
Dec 1 st at neck edge next 3 (4, 4, 5,
5) rows. 11 (11, 12, 13, 14) sts.
Stst straight until front measures same
as back to shoulder, end with a WS
row.
Cast off loosely rem shoulder sts.
Place 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) button markers
along straight front edge, the first one
5cm from cast on edge, the last one
2cm from beg of neck shaping and
the rem evenly in between.

RIGHT FRONT
With 4.50mm needles, cast on 33
(35, 37, 39, 41) sts.
Row 1: RS - K1; *p1, k1; rep from *
to end.
Row 2: P all sts.
Rep these 2 rows 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) times
more.
Next Row: RS – (K1, p1) 3 times
(matching up with band already in
place); k to end.
Next Row: P.
