Patt straight until Front measures same
as back to shoulders, end with WS row
for Left Front and a RS row for Right
Front. Cast off rem 16 (20, 23, 28,
33) sts each shoulder.
SLEEVE PATTERN – MEN’S
GARMENT ONLY
Stst 10 rows; Garter Stitch (= k
every row) 4 rows, Stst 4 rows, Garter
Stitch 4 rows.
SLEEVES MEN’S AND LADIES
With 3.75mm needles cast on 51 (51,
53, 53, 53) sts.
K1, p1 rib for 12 (12, 14, 14, 14)
rows.
Change to 4.00mm needles.
Work sleeve patt from ** to ** twice for
Men’s garment or plain Stst throughout
for Ladies garment then cont in Stst
only and at same time inc 1 st each
end every 4th row 2 (4, 6, 8, 9)
times, then every 6th row to 87 (89,
91, 95, 97) sts.
Stst straight until sleeve measures 45
(46, 46, 47, 48) cm from beg, end
with a WS row.Shape Top
Cast off 6 (6, 6, 7, 7) sts beg of next
2 rows.
Dec 1 st each end next 10 rows.
Dec 1 st each end every other row 6
(6, 7, 8, 9) times.
Cast off 3 sts beg next 8 rows.
Cast off loosely.MAKING UP
Join shoulder seams.
Mark centre back neck.COLLAR
With RS facing and 4.00mm needles,
slip the stitch holder 26 (26, 28, 28,
28) sts to needle.
Garter Stitch (= k every row) and inc
1 st at garment edge (at beg of RS
row for Men’s garment or at end of
RS row for Female garment) every
6th row until collar easily fits to centre
back neck marker; place marker on last
row of collar. Cont in Garter Stitch and
dec 1 st at garment edge every 6th
row until 26 (26, 28, 28, 28) sts rem.
Ensure 2nd half of collar is same
length as first. Cast off loosely.
Sew collar in place ensure marker of
centre back and marker of centre of
collar are matching up, sew collar cast
off edge in behind beg of collar.
Sew in sleeve tops, join side and
