Row 1: RS – *K1, P1; rep from

    Row 2: WS – *P1, K1; rep from

    This 2 rows form Moss st patt. Work in
    patt until length measures 4cm, ending
    on a WS row.
    Now working in St st throughout, work
    until length measures 40cm (from
    beg), ending on a RS row. **


Shape left v-neck
Next Row: WS dec – Dec 1 st at beg
(neck edge) of this row, then foll 4th
rows, 15 (16, 17, 18) times, at the
same time shape armholes as follows:


Shape left armhole
Next Row: RS – Cast off 6 (7, 8, 9)
sts at beg (armhole edge).
Next Row: WS – Work 1 row.
Next Row: RS dec – K2, sl1, K1, psso,
work to end.
This row sets patt for dec.

Tie Front Cardigan

A classic Stocking stitch cardigan with set in sleeves. The shawl collar,
which is worked in Moss stitch, is split to create a tie front.
