Turmeric latte

Equal parts soothing and invigorating, turmeric lattes hit that

spot when you’re after a caffeine-free drink with a bit more
sass than a herbal tea. Our Daily Healer blend of turmeric latte
drinking powder includes pepper to super-charge your body’s
absorption of turmeric’s healing properties.

MAKES 1 LATTE

1 Tbsp. turmeric latte drinking powder
1 cup milk (coconut or nut milk are delicious options)

In a saucepan, place milk and latte drinking powder; stir with a whisk
over a high heat until warmed through and the powder is dissolved.
Serve as is, or pour hot ingredients into a high-speed blender or
milk frother for a true latte drinking experience.

Thyme and turmeric

bliss balls

These two traditionally savoury flavours, turmeric and thyme,
make an exciting pairing for your next batch of bliss balls. Nuts,
fats and healing spices make these the perfect snack and are just
like giving your insides a big high-five.

MAKES 15 BLISS BALLS

1/4 cup coconut flour
1 cup almonds
½ cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup coconut oil

3 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh thyme
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 2 lemons
2 Tbsp. turmeric drinking powder
Pinch of salt

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until the
almonds have been cut down and the ingredients are well blended.

Take 1 tablespoon of the blended mix and roll into balls, then roll in
desiccated coconut and place on a tray. Pop the tray in the freezer
for at least one hour to harden.

and only good quality and ideally
organic turmeric will have high
curcumin levels (so it may be time to
replace the jar of turmeric spice that’s
been sitting in your pantry for years).
Utilising functional spices to support
a healthy lifestyle is a wonderful way to
start the journey of healing from the
inside out, or boost an already naturally
nourishing lifestyle.
Spices have been the foundation

of many traditional diets and cultures
but unfortunately, somewhere along
the way, the Western culture lost sight
of the power to heal. Encouragingly,
we are seeing a revived level of interest
in understanding the impact of what we
eat and drink on our overall health.
It’s a liberating feeling to know that
we have the power through natural
foods to support the healing that our
bodies need.

Store the bliss balls in single serve zip-lock bags in the freezer, then
grab and go in the morning on your way to work, or when you are
after a quick and easy snack.
