THE
RESULTS:
When I first walked
in, my body was
buzzing with frenetic
energy. By the end
of the first session,
those jagged edges
had smoothed on
one side of my body
(Schlederer explained
my asymmetry was
because of where
organs – and
potential blockages- are positioned in
 the body). Could
 15 minutes with a few
 pins in my feet, shins,
 hands and scalp work
 that quickly? I visited
 again (subsequent
 sessions are $90) and
 it felt as though even
 my blood had slowed
 its pump. I didn’t feel
 like I was about to
 take off in fight-or-
 flight all the time
 (got to be a good
 thing). I was shocked
 something so
 old-fashioned could
 be so effective so
 fast, and I still have
 sessions regularly.
