Peep Toes
Clean up those big toes and
skip the little ones that stay
hidden. Smooth edges with a
file, and preempt smudges by
slipping into your shoes before
you paint. This Sally Hansen
polish (top left) requires no
top or base coat.
Ballet Flats or Cutouts
Moisturize visible skin only—
so, just the tops of your feet if
you’re in f lats—to nix ashiness.
Then even out any weird dis-
coloration with an instant body
bronzer. (St. Tropez’s budge-
proof formula, at right, won’t
streak or stain your shoes—
even if you start to sweat.)
Slides
A slip-on style puts heels on
display. Remove dead skin
and rough patches with
this electronic foot file from
Amopé, above center (it’s
waaay faster than using a
pumice stone), then follow up
with a thick balm.
Try a Foot Facial
Patchology’s chemical peel (above) makes the roughest heels and calluses silky smooth, thanks
to a cocktail of exfoliating acids. Encase feet in the disposable socks for an hour, then wait a few
days. You’ll see shedding and peeling (gross but satisfying) during the next week. The end result
is feet that look and feel better than with any professional pedi. Warning: Fresh skin is prone to
blisters, so spritz them with PreHeels’ protective spray (top right) before you put on your shoes.
