A beautiful

BALANCE

For me, no two days are ever the
same, which is exciting and fun
but it can be hard to find a balance.
As well as teaching classes, I could
be writing my blog, on a shoot,
organising retreats, filming for my
YouTube channel, meeting other
bloggers or attending events to
discover new brands.

I still have to squeeze in some
normality though and trying to
stick to a routine helps. That way
I don't forget to take a little time
out of my day to do things I enjoy
like working out, cooking a delicious
meal or giving my skin some
tender love and care!

Regarding my daily routine, my make
-up doesn't take very long (as I don't
wear much) but curling my hair
can be time-consuming. But what's
most important to me is making sure

1

FIND SOME HEADSPACE,
NO MATTER WHAT
I rarely switch off but I know it
makes me feel better when I do so I
always make time for exercise and
home-cooking. Whether it’s a 10-minute
Pilates session or an outdoor run it
makes me feel aligned, grounded and
connected to my body.

2

KEEP THE CONVERSATION
FLOWING
Everyone is always on their phone
but half the time they’re posting pictures,
not actually talking to people. Talking is
healing and I speak to my friends and
family every day. That constant connection
is essential to our happiness and really
helps if you’re feeling stressed. Often, you
know the answer to your worries already
but it helps you refocus and prioritise.

3

STEP AWAY FROM SOCIAL MEDIA
I’m starting to leave my phone
in another room after 9pm. It
makes me sleep so much better. Digital
detoxes are great, too. Every now and again
l delete all the apps off my phone and it’s
ovely.

PAUSE, REFLECT AND
LAUGH ABOUT IT
Self-care is for your own wellbeing.
you never switch off and reflect or
elebrate what you’ve achieved, how can
ou improve things going forward? Laugh,
ance, be silly, listen to music – allowing
yourself to have fun will put everything
to perspective.

LOTTIE’S LIFE-BALANCING
BLUEPRINT

I leave time to moisturise as I have
dry skin. It’s why products like
Aveeno’s Daily Moisturising Body
Yogurt are so helpful because they
leave my skin smooth and hydrated
all day, so even if I’m changing to
go to an event I don’t have to reapply.

With my days being a blur of one
deadline after another, my home
is my little slice of heaven. My
bathroom is where I go to
disconnect from the outside world
and unless it’s to listen to music,
my phone doesn’t come with me!

If it’s a Sunday I’ll run myself a
relaxing bath and indulge in a slow
self-care routine where I like to
put on Aveeno Body Yogurt. I love
the nutrient-rich cream blended
with natural oatmeal and yogurt
concentrate and a touch of scent
which helps me switch off.

Inspired by centuries’ old Greek yogurt, new Aveeno Daily Moisturising
Body Yogurts and Body Washes blend naturally active oatmeal and
nutrient-rich yogurt concentrate. The rich creamy textures with
delightful scents revitalise and reveal healthier looking,
deeply nourished skin. You can grab your very own
Body Yogurt for £6.50 or Body Wash for £7.89 at Boots.
