s we celebrate Cosmopolitan Philippines’

20th birthday this month (imagine that—

we’ve been inspiring and encouraging

Filipinas to become their best, most

beautiful selves since 1997!), we also celebrate your

twenties as your defining decade. A decade of

infinite possibilities. A decade of exploration and

courage and working toward being certain of who

you are and what you can offer the world.

In this issue, we’re especially proud of our

main story on our 20 carefully chosen PYTs:

Passionate Young Twenty-Somethings who

aren’t afraid to pursue their wildest dreams, to

redefine traditional notions of what it means to

be professionally accomplished, to carve out their

own creative paths, and to shake things up every

chance they get. These women aren’t afraid to

make mistakes while making their mark, and

ultimately that is our sincerest birthday wish for

you, Cosmo Girls. We hope you never stop trying

and learning and growing, and we hope failure

never makes you feel unworthy of love and

success. We hope you always feel that your voice

deserves to be heard, and that your soul deserves

to shine. Because it does.
