It’s the middle of cold and flu season, you’ve had your flu shot
and you’re being diligent about using hand sanitiser when out
and about. For some extra protection, try this immune-boosting
drink that blends pear and spinach, which together provide
about 25 per cent of the recommended daily intake of
vitamin C. Probiotic-rich yoghurt with its good bacteria
helps fortify your gut – one of the first lines of defence against
pathogens – while ginger contains anti-inflammatory
compounds that help reduce cold and flu symptoms.
