IS COFFEE
GOOD OR
BAD FOR ME?
I’M CONFUSED.
OSalma, via email

That double espresso
is a double-edged
sword when it comes to
health benefits vs risks. The
coffee bean in its pure form is a
well-researched natural therapy.
Several studies show a reduced
risk of diabetes in coffee drinkers,
along with a reduction in some
cancers. But, caffeine in any form can
be a devil for sleep. Rule of thumb:
in moderation (one or two cups a
day) it can be beneficial, but reduce
caffeine if you’re not snoozing well.
