What kind of impact do you see
with the introduction of RERA (Real
Estate Regulatory Act)? Do you
expect any increase in operational
cost due to RERA?
Yes, the operational cost will increase
both due to RERA and GST. The sector
will be highly respected in the next five
years as we will see global participants
coming in as the sector will be easy to
understand
After government’s announcement
of infrastructure status to
affordable housing projects, the
sector is expected to receive a
boost, so do you have any plan
to expand your geographical
presence in the affordable
segment?
Yes may be to a city with inward
population migration
Going forward, how do you plan to
fund your projects? Just want an
idea of how much equity infusion
would be there and portion of
debt?
Most if these would be via internal
accruals, and for exponential growth, yes
we are open to raising funds at an
appropriate opportunity.
Apart from affordable housing,
which segment do you expect to
drive company’s growth in the
coming fiscals?
The middle income group has very high
potential
With government’s push to
affordable housing and introduction
of GST and RERA, how do you see
the real estate sector performing in
coming years?
It will see large-size consolidation and
corporates will be positioned better. It
will be a difficult transformation for all,
but it will be for a better future.

