APPLE IPAD PRO 10,5
Consider this screen size bump as either a prelude to the upcoming new iPhone’s
similar screen enlarging, or a way to remove confusion within the iPad line-up.
After experiencing it for myself, I can attest to its brilliance. Apple is calling it
“the world’s most advanced display” and you can’t really argue with that logic on
tablets and laptops. There’s nothing in the market with this kind of lamination
and that ludicrous 120 Hz refresh rate. It’s also meant to replace your laptop; when
raw processing power is combined with the extensive iOS 11 updates, that’s also
difficult to dispute. If you can stomach the price, this is the best tablet computer
you can buy. If you want to save a few pennies, opt for the outgoing iPad Pro
9,7 or even the iPad (you’ll get the same software for half the price and only
lose a bit of screen quality and Pencil support).

C SEED 262
All we know is that C Seed manufacture
the world’s largest outdoor LED display
and now the company is bringing that
technology indoors. That 262 model
number is the diagonal size, in inches.
It weighs 800 kg and it’s a 4K panel.

TEFORIA LEAF
I’m quite serious about my tea and love
the ceremony of extracting the perfect cup.
I do, however, see the value in outsourcing
the process of drawing the perfect cup to
a robot. Water temperature – when you
upgrade to speciality leaves like Gyokuro,
you’ll know the importance of it – steep
time and agitation are all automatically set
by scanning the proprietary tea package.
That’s really the only flaw.

DJI SPARK
Soldering together components and perfecting
your mini-quad’s tune is great fun and all,
but sometimes you just want to fly and
have fun or take interesting visuals. The
Spark is the dream machine. Its mini-quad
(body about the size of a Coke can) houses a
full suite of intelligent flight sensors that
help it avoid obstacles, return to home and
even recognise your face. That DJI encourages
customers to launch this drone from the palm of
your hand goes against everything we understand
as “safe practice”, but simultaneously serves as a
testament to the company’s technological prowess.
Fifteen minutes of flight time means you should prob-
ably consider the FlyMore bundle that adds two extra
batteries and a three-battery charger. It also gets you
the controller which extends the range to two kilo-
metres and ups the top speed to 50 km/h.
