of Thai artist Phannapast

Taychamaythakool were front

and centre at Gucci’s Pacifi c

Place boutique when A-listers

attended a cocktail party to

celebrate the brand’s latest

collection of fi ne jewellery,

Le Marché des Merveilles,

which explores the animal

kingdom. The works by

Phannapast, who was

discovered by Gucci creative

director Alessandro Michele

on Instagram, bring to life

three fairy tales written by

fellow Thai creative Aracha

Cholitgul in a joint project

for Gucci. Aracha’s tales,

which have been published in

a limited edition book with

Phannapast’s illustrations, tell

of a “Wonder Factory” where

animals create the marvellous

jewels of Gucci’s latest line.
