Who says dolls are just for
children? Not Dutch designers
Viktor Horsting and Rolf
Snoeren, who introduced the
unlikely combination of MA-1
flight jackets, homespun
patchworks and children’s toys
into their couture collection.
This was done by showing
each of the 20 looks twice—
once with bobbing woollen
doll heads, and once with the
heads removed to reveal the
models who had previously
been peering through giant
fake lips. Playful in construction
and thoughtful in design,
each of these looks definitely
deserved a second trip down
the catwalk.
