The Lebanese designer’s most recent
collection was an ode to beauty
inspired by fin de siècle silhouettes
and Edwardian materials. Each look
was more opulent than the last, with
models sauntering down the catwalk in
caped jumpsuits and tea-length frocks
that could have been brought to life
out of an art nouveau fairy tale. Models
sported delicate gold crowns that gave
them the air of goddesses, and ornate
embellishments covered every piece of
fabric, from light-as-air silk chiffon to
