London and Sarnia Seniors
Receive Heart to Home Meals
Delivery Service
Seniors in London and Sarnia can
now order the popular home-deliv-
ery meal service from Heart to Home
Meals. A new franchise in southwest-
ern Ontario is offering a wide range
of more than 200 frozen home-style
meals and desserts that can be deliv-
ered from a menu catalogue or online.
“Our goal is to help seniors live
independently in the comfort of their
own homes,” said Paul Knight, the
new franchise owner. “There is no
service like Heart to Home Meals in
the area, and many seniors, particu-
larly those challenged with mobility,
will find the convenience and qual-
ity of our food a real benefit. I’m so
happy to be part of a team commit-
ted to helping our community.”
Along with the food, seniors will
also benefit from regular visits by
delivery drivers, who help provide
an additional point of contact.

Atlantic Canada Welcomes 20
New A&W Franchises
With more than 890 restaurants in
Canada already, A&W plans to open
hundreds more across the country
by 2020. The priority focus for 2017
is on Atlantic Canada, with plans to
award 20 new restaurants to fran-
chisees in the region. Some of these

restaurants will be located in bigger
cities, such as Halifax, Nova Scotia;
Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint
John, New Brunswick; and St. John’s,
Newfoundland. A&W has also pre-
selected several vibrant small towns
for the expansion.
“Our research shows that the east
coast offers tremendous expansion
opportunities for A&W,” says Yanick
Morin, National Director, Franchise
Development, A&W Food Services of
Canada Inc. “There is a general per-
ception that businesses in Atlantic
Canada are not performing as well as
in other regions in Canada, but the
food service industry is growing. In
fact, our free-standing restaurants
across the east coast have experi-
enced year-over-year growth, and our
A&W franchisees in Atlantic Canada
operate some of the most successful
restaurants in the entire country.”
