Canadian Veteran Continues
PropertyGuys.com Expansion
After just one year in operation in
the South Okanagan area, Marc
Carriere, a Canadian veteran who
served three tours in Afghanistan,
has seen tremendous growth with
his PropertyGuys.com franchise,
and plans to grow the company into
west Kelowna, British Columbia.
“With the success I’m seeing dur-
ing my first year in business, and the
hot real estate market in B.C., if ever
there was a time to invest in expan-
sion, it’s now,” explained Marc. “I am
really excited to carry this strong
growth into west Kelowna!”
“Marc certainly has that tactical
mindset. He saw the opportunity to

grow his business, and has set his
sights on expansion,” said Ken LeB-
lanc, President and CEO of Property-
Guys.com. “To see his success this
early on in his business, coupled
with his mindset for growth, that’s
the mark of a savvy entrepreneur.
We’re really happy to have him on
board and continuing to serve more
customers in the Okanagan.”
Always looking toward what’s next,
PropertyGuys.com and its franchi-
sees are seeking to expand their reach
to even more communities in British
Columbia. With a major focus on the
lower mainland of British Columbia,
PropertyGuys.com believes that its
system will be well received in an
area of the country where the tradi-
tional real estate model is under a fair
amount of scrutiny.

Topper’s Pizza Keeping
Jobs in Northern Ontario
Community
Topper’s Pizza recently moved
into a brand new 3,000 square-foot
customer care centre in Sudbury,
Ontario. The new location will pro-
vide a larger, brighter, and more
team-focused environment, as well
as room for the growth of approxi-
mately 50 more staff members.
“In the spirit of keeping jobs in
Northern Ontario, we see a very
clear growth trajectory for Sudbury,
and wanted to keep our company
roots in our hometown,” said Co-
owner Kelly Toppazzini. Toppazzini
estimates that every new pizzeria
location that comes on board with
the customer call centre will see the
addition of two-to-three staff.
Kimberly Blanchard, Customer
Care Centre Manager, has been
with the facility for more than seven
years. “Sudbury is where the story
of Topper’s Pizza began,” Blanchard
says. “With the addition of a brand
new facility in our 35th year of busi-
ness, our call centre representatives
are proud to be part of the compa-
ny’s local history. We are a family
business with family values.”
