they’ve come. And the story it-
self captured everything I know
to be true about the band – they
are sincere, passionate and
truthful, qualities sorely lack-

Chris Cornell. Even though I
never knew him personally, as
humans, we share so many of
our life experiences through his
music. Chris will be missed and
our grief is real.

But as Henry Rollins observed,
suicide of our most talented
artists cuts to the core of our
togetherness. Chester Benning-
ton’s vocals hid nothing: un-
resolved torment, alienation,
shame, angst v hope. But in
the end, again the inexplicable.
